Titanium element
Tio2 represents a compound of titanium (Ti) and oxygen (O), with the chemical formula TiO2. Tio2, commonly known as titanium dioxide or titanium dioxide, is a white inorganic pigment widely used in coatings, plastics, rubber, paper, cosmetics, food and medicine. It is known for its excellent hiding power, brightness and stability, and is one of the indispensable materials in modern industry.
Chemical properties
High refractive index: The refractive index of titanium dioxide is as high as 2.7, the highest among all white pigments, giving it excellent hiding power and brightness.
Chemical stability: It has extremely high stability to acids, alkalis and organic solvents, and is not prone to chemical reactions.
Light resistance: It is not easy to decompose under ultraviolet rays and has excellent light resistance.
Non-toxic and harmless: It is harmless to the human body and the environment and is a safe material.
